PRIVATE LESSONS

Thank you for your interest in Private Lessons at MCMC!

MCMC offers new ways to inspire and motivate students of all ages and levels in their musical learning process.

MCMC lessons are taught by highly trained music educators and celebrated artists in our community. We offer lessons in over 20 instruments at our Main Street location, faculty home studios, and virtually.

Private lessons at MCMC meet students where they are in their learning trajectory. Lessons are tailored at 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Beginner and Intermediate students are encouraged to take weekly lessons throughout our Academic Year Session running from September - June. Advanced students or busy adults often opt for a lesson package or bi-weekly lessons. Many teachers also offer lessons over the summer months, with varying frequencies.

Tuition is based on lesson length and frequency, billed in monthly installments. There is also a one-time enrollment fee to get your family started with Private Lessons. At MCMC, we never want finances to be a barrier to music learning and strive to offer financial aid to all who need it.

Is your child under the age of 9? If so, we encourage you to learn more about our Music Together® (ages 0-5) and Rhythm Kids® (ages 4-8) programs which are a key stepping stone to private lessons. Our Private Lesson teachers have reported excellent music competency in students who have taken these classes, boosting their ability to understand and absorb information once they begin their journey of private lessons.

A highlight of MCMC – Private Lesson students of all ages and levels are invited to perform throughout the year in our performance salons as well as engage with music through our other offerings - studio programs, group classes, camps, and more!

We look forward to welcoming you to MCMC!
