SPACE RENTALS

HISTORY

We look forward to welcoming you to Middlebury Community Music Center at the Historic Middlebury Community House for your next meeting, party, or rehearsal. The Middlebury Community House was built in 1816 -1817 as the residence of Horatio Seymour, an influential U.S. politician and was later gifted to the town in 1938 by Seymour’s great granddaughter Jessica Stewart Swift and great grandson Philip Battell Stewart for the use and benefit of the people of the Town of Middlebury. The house, with seven rooms and a basement, features an exquisite winding staircase in addition to many intricate and ornate original detailing.
