Music Together® and Rhythm Kids®

Music Together®

The Music Together® program is our Mixed-Age music class, for children from birth through age 5—and the grownups who love them!

Classes are designed to be mixed ages, participatory, fun, and a wonderful way to bond with your child(ren). Music Together classes are a great way for us to provide a rich musical experience for our children in class and at home, giving us tools in day to day parenting, and opening up a lifetime of music making!

Rhythm Kids®

We are delighted to offer Rhythm Kids®, a class for ages 4–8 developed by the internationally acclaimed Music Together® program.

Rhythm Kids is segmented into two classes, one for children ages 4-6 and the other for children aged 5 up to second grade.

Rhythm Kids is an exciting and comprehensive music, movement, and drumming program that helps children complete the pathway of early childhood music development. Rhythm Kids classes are designed to help children develop their rhythm skills and gain a deeper level of musical understanding, preparing them for formal music instruction.

Making musical memories together

“The part about this that I think is the most helpful is the support it gives the parents. Just in terms of encouraging you. I had more of a musical background, my wife less, so for her, she’s sort of not as comfortable, and I’ve seen her get a lot more comfortable, like she would never sing before, because she was like, “I have a terrible voice,” you know? And now she sings all the time with us. It feels like it just sort of encourages us to be more musical with her, and gives my wife more confidence.”

Early musical engagement

“When we first came, we weren’t sure how she would respond, but she loves it. And so, she really engaged with it, even when she was two months old, we thought it might be too much, but she was just mesmerized. I grew up with a very musical childhood, so it’s just important. We sing a lot at home.”
