Chris works in software technology and is involved in many other parts of our community including the governing board of Maple Broadband and the board of the Middlebury Ski and Snowboard Club.

- What makes our mission meaningful to you?

As a life-long musician, I understand the power and value of music and music education. I have seen first-hand as both a parent and a student, myself, how fortunate our community is to have a resource like MCMC. I am looking forward to contributing as a board member to MCMC's mission of bringing high quality music education to as many students as possible.

- What are some of your prior board experiences?

As of 2025, I am a member of the Middlebury Ski and Snowboard Club Board of Directors. I also serve as the Weybridge representative to the Maple Broadband governing board, whose mission is to bring high quality broadband access to all of Addison County.

- What skills, connections, resources, and expertise do you have to offer and are willing to use on behalf of the organization?

I have been part of the Addison County community both as a 2004 graduate of Middlebury College and now a resident of Weybridge, Vermont with my wife and son, who is an active participant in MCMC private lessons and group classes. I am a frequent volunteer at our elementary school and participant in other events and organizations in our area. In my professional career as a software technologist, I have worked on many small teams under considerable constraints to deliver high quality results.

- What motivates you [and how are your personal aspirations enhanced by board service]?

I am motivated by learning and growing, and by seeing others succeed in achieving something they didn't know was possible.
