Music Together® (ages 0-5)

“We love these classes. They are the highlight of our week.” — Music Together® family

Music Together® classes are participatory, fun, and a wonderful way to bond with your child(ren) and other families in the community. Each session includes singing, dancing, drumming, and playing instruments. Classes provide a rich musical experience for children and offer parents and caretakers tools to use in everyday parenting and a chance to meet families in our community. Tuition includes a beautifully illustrated songbook, a CD of award-winning songs, and access to the Music Together® app. Learn more about the benefits of this class here.

Testimonials

“Music Together® classes have been one of the most empowering parts of our family’s early years. Taking us from infant hood through to the toddler years, our family has grown musically together. But beyond that, we’ve formed a warm little community here in Middlebury through these classes that has trickled so beautifully into all aspects of our lives.”  — Music Together® family

“My kiddo loves the class and is now bopping and drumming away on all surfaces around the house.” — Rhythm Kids® family

Many times I need a piano student to sing/hum a tune so that we can isolate the melody and discuss rhythm or articulation. I can tell right away if a student has participated in a Music Together® or Rhythm Kids®  class because they are not afraid to isolate that melody and it seems quite natural for them to do that. However, students who haven’t practiced that skill in a Music Together® or Rhythm Kids® in general feel very self-conscious or struggle to find the notes they want within their own bodies. I love that our Early Childhood Music Program is equipping students to recognize that they THEMSELVES are the music makers, and not their instruments and to be confident in their music-making abilities!   — MCMC piano faculty
