Summer vibe standard repertoire of Jazz.
MCMC Summer Jazz students will be studying and rehearsing the standard repertoire of Jazz in ensembles. They will be improving their ensemble skills, including blending tone, integrating rhythm, matching pitch, and balancing volume. There will also be ample time for improvisational skills. Students must submit the instrument they wish to play at camp ahead of time.
If you’re a returning camper, you do not need to audition for camp. If this is your first year in this camp we ask that you audition.
