Treasurer

-What makes our mission meaningful to you?
Music holds a power that can immediately transform the emotional state of the individual, and collectively, a vast number of people with a single note. I'll never cease to be amazed by this power. MCMC harnesses that power and through its mission brings together a community to offer a holistic approach to all aspects of music education.

-What are some of your prior board leadership experiences?
-I've served on the board of Middlebury Underground, a multidisciplinary arts and event organization bringing the diverse cross-sections of the community together around unique, shared experiences.

-I've served on the board of advisors for Aqua ViTea, a functional beverage manufacturer dedicated to sustaining and cultivating the core foundation of healthy, sustainable communities.

-What skills, connections, resources, and expertise do you have to offer and are willing to use on the behalf of the organization?
I bring organizational business and legal strategy from my background in finance and accounting and as an attorney specializing in corporate law. I grew up in Addison County and enjoy fostering those relationships built over the years to make connections that may further the mission of MCMC.

-What motivates you and how are your personal aspirations enhanced by board service?
The MCMC organization is very entrepreneurial in nature. There never ceases to be new ideas and opportunities to enhance its mission. I'm motivated by this entrepreneurial spirit and the privilege to work alongside other professionals to further a mission and give back to a community that has given a lot to me.
